Well today was Day 2 of working towards the 1/2 marathon! I wasn't really sore from walking/running so that was good. This was my training for today:
Tuesday: 30 min cross training (anything but walk-run)
So Justin and I went for a bike ride. I don't know how far we went maybe 3 miles? It took us around 40 minutes and we didn't stop. We kept a moderate pace. He loves riding bikes and can ride for hours. However, I can't! Number 1, it hurts my butt like nobody's business! Number 2, my thighs were killing me! Number 3, I get nervous that I am going to fall and crash! I am going to learn to like it I know but I just don't like it yet. I do like it better then running though!
Today, I am super sore from the bike ride! My butt cheeks hurt!!!! My thighs hurt! And I am tired. I didn't sleep well because my hips were hurting all night. It happened to me the other day too so I don't think its from the bike ride. I am just going to have to watch it and see what's causing it. Today, there is no training. It's a day for rest! Praise the lord! I don't think I could exercise today because I am so sore. So I will be posting again Thurs!
